  1. First mix up equal parts of orange lollipop and white pearl in a bowl, enough to coat the ornament–about 1/4 cup.
  2. halloween-paint

  3. Then hang the ornament on the hanger over the bowl of paint. Using a plastic spoon, coat the ornament in paint from the top down. Let the excess paint drip down into the bowl and let dry.
  4. Using a paper clip or toothpick is a good way to remove that last excess drip on the bottom of the ornament if you want a smooth, round finish. If you want a little pointy bit on the bottom of the ornament, just let gravity take over.

  6. Once the paint has dried, heat up your glue gun. Apply a small bit to the back of the first bat and affix the center of the ornament.
  7. Continue applying glue to each bat, all the way around until all the bats reach each other. Clip off excess bats.

  9. Using a paintbrush, brush a drop of clear glue on each bat.
  10. Sprinkle the black glitter onto the bats, shake gently to remove excess glitter.
  11. Add a wire ornament hanger or ribbon and you’re done!
